About the Artist:
Afsaneh is graduated from Alzahra University in the field of Handicrafts (BA) in Tehran, in 1991. She is an art activist, painter, miniaturist, animator, teacher, and researcher of art history. Afsaneh has pursued her artistic activity by holding more than forty solo and group painting exhibitions in Iran and abroad. She has promoted Persian art through the exhibition of her painting in Germany, Austria, Canada, and Malaysia.
In 1993, her four-chapter painting was published in the middle school art textbook as a genuine model of contemporary Iranian art, and her other works have also been published in the book of drawings.
She received an honorary diploma and a cash prize from the first painting exhibition of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tehran in 1993.
